This is the place to get a hold of each other!

I hope that all CPC members will begin to use this blog to get in touch with each other for quick exchanges, information and brainstorming.  Networking and communication are important--they keep this group exciting.  Don't lose sight of the "community" side of the equation and  how fun it is to find surprises in your variety bag at the end of the exchanges.  The next exchange is on October 15th.  What's in your bag?? ;-)

  1. We are looking forward to the Oct. 15 exchange. I'm not quite certain what we will have fresh and ready but something certainly will be, as we are changing over parts of our garden to our winter veggies and taking out what is spent. If anyone sees this, can I ask what you all are planting currently for our climate? It is hard to find good info on regional planting times.

I just put in peas, bok choy, chinese cabbage and onion sets.

  2. Tanya- any brassicas (broccoli, cauliflower, mustard, kale, etc) will work. So will lettuce, spinach and garlic. Root vegetables might too, but it might also be a little late for these to get big.

Lisa- it is somewhat difficult to get a hold of people here if we're not you because we can only post comments, which are not as visible by others as actual posts.

See you all at the exchange!
